About Me.

“How can I make the world a better place while I am alive?”

Sadako Sasaki (1.7.1943 – 10.25.1955)

Keeping an open mind, open heart, always learning, that is my path. Others have been on this particular path long before me: poets, scientists of all kinds, explorers, & other artists. Learning from them and doing my best in creating artworks, that is what keeps me on this path. Sharing with others, this is my quest.

Sometimes I create works to show the beautiful experiences I have had with the natural world. At other times I am heartbroken, frustrated and angry at how humanity can be so nonchalant about the problems facing everything in our environment and climate chaos and the people suffering the most from it. This too guides me on my path.

As many wise people have said: once your eyes are opened (i.e. heart & mind) it is your duty and gift to do your best for Mother Earth, and all who live on her, including people. We are all in this together!

“Tell me what is your plan to do with your one wild and precious life?”

 Mary Oliver (9.10.1935 – 1.17.2019)
